For Those Working In The Shop (i.e. Senior Design)

Make sure that you swipe in and out after every use of the shop. If you forget, the system will swipe you out automatically at the end of the day and record a minimum of two hours of shop usage. The Shop tries to track activity to measure usage, so your help in maintaining accurate data is appreciated.

For General Customers

Please make sure that you and your supervisor (if applicable) regularly check the provided email addresses. As part of the Machine Shop workflow you will received automated emails to request quote approval and to inform you of the status of your order. If you do not respond, the Machine Shop will have to manually reach out and contact you, increasing the amount of time required to complete your project.
